We label allergens in plain English and we won’t claim “allergen-free” unless the kitchen controls truly back it. For a serious allergy, tell us before you order and we’ll plan the whole menu around it.

Melbourne Asian Feasts by Vanessa is Vanessa’s kitchen: generous Asian food cooked with host energy, then organised with real care around people, timing, labels and safety.

Preferences, allergies, intolerances and religious requirements are handled separately and confirmed before anything is cooked. Ask, and Vanessa will share the boring-but-important paperwork a real caterer should have: ABN, insurance and Food Safety Supervisor details.

Around 48 hours for most feasts, and a little more for large or premium events. Last-minute? Message us, some things are possible.

03DeliveryWhere do you deliver?+

Melbourne CBD and the inner suburbs: Richmond, Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, South Yarra, Docklands, St Kilda and nearby. Tell us your postcode and we’ll confirm the fee and lead time up front.

04DietariesCan you do vegan, gluten-free or halal?+

Yes. Every feast has vegan and gluten-free-friendly options, and halal-friendly is available on request. For a serious allergy, flag it before you order and we plan the whole menu around it.

05QuoteHow does pricing work?+

Each feast shows an honest “from” per-person price. When you lock a menu we send a firm quote with delivery and any add-ons, and take a small deposit to hold your date. No surprise fees.

06SetupDo you set up, or just drop off?+

Drop-off is the default: labelled, table-ready boxes. Add setup and serving-ware, or go full hosted with staff and live finishing for premium events.

07StudentsCan students order weekly meals?+

Yes. The student flow is built for weekly meals, exam packs, taste-of-home orders, parent gifts, roommate groups and campus pickup. Vanessa still confirms the exact menu and timing before cooking.

08WhatsAppCan I send the order through WhatsApp?+

Yes. The order flow turns your answers into a clear WhatsApp brief so Vanessa gets the date, postcode, order size, preferences and serious allergy or religious requirements in one place.

09PhotosAre the food photos real?+

Yes, the current demo uses real licensed food photography for visual direction. Before public launch, package and menu photos should be replaced with Vanessa’s actual food and event shoots. We do not use AI-generated menu food.
